Um, hi
Good morning! I guess I did hibernate for a tad longer than expected...
But now the sun's up, days are longer and I've Madonna blaring on the stereo. Things are looking up, definitely. January was horrid, all rain and darkness and sludge for the entire month. I woke up, went to work, got back home and was in bed again at 9 pm. For the entire month. For a while I was convinced that instead of Vantaa I'd accidentally moved into Mordor, and that one morning I'd open the curtains and saw a great big fiery eye staring right at me (and probably complain how I'd let my home become such a mess, at least finally get something done and paint the hall, woman!).
This month, however, has been a steady progress of getting rid of the worst winter depression ever, what with mornings like this


and my sister's hen night (read: weekend) and wedding as a result of which I do not only have a ticket to the 2nd preview of the semifinals in the Eurovision song contest but my, um, cat-in-law has been gracing my home with her presence since dear sister and her brand new husband legged it off to Florence for the week. Her 2 most favourite perching posts, the bed and the book case:


Not to mention the fact that yesterday I got this in the mail:

Yes, that's right, more Corvus Corax. I watched the concert and it's once more proved that real men play bagpipes, huge drums, are known to occasionally get down on their knees and whip themselves, and..

Excuse me while I go take a cold shower. I'm sure that somewhere there are laws against unmarried women watching certain kinds of DVDs.
